Advantages of an hybrid vehicle

As i was explaining to my friends on DeviantArt:  Jumping to hyperspace is like taking a subway train underground and avoiding traffic up in the street and warp speed is like having a mean speeding bus running over bikes on the avenue covered with oil. That´s about it.  :)
